This policy explains the small amount of data Vocalio stores in your browser, and why. Vocalio stores almost nothing by default, and sets no analytics cookies at all unless you accept them.

The short version

Vocalio uses a little essential storage to remember your choices, plus optional analytics that run only if you accept them. There are no ads — no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

What Vocalio stores by default

• Your language choice. Kept in your browser's local storage so the site opens in the language you picked.
• Your cookie choice. A small value remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask every time.

Both of these are stored in local storage, not cookies, and are never sent to us. They aren't used to track you.

Analytics — only if you accept

With your consent, Vocalio uses PostHog — a privacy-respecting analytics tool hosted in the European Union — to understand which pages people visit, so we can improve the site. If you accept, PostHog sets its own cookies and local storage to measure anonymous pageviews. It also includes anonymized session recordings, but every text field is masked, so nothing you type is ever captured — only layout, clicks, and navigation. Analytics stay OFF unless you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time below. We don't sell this data or use it for advertising.

What Vocalio does NOT use

• No ads of any kind, and no advertising cookies.
• No cross-site tracking pixels, web beacons, or social-media trackers.
• No unmasked recording — every text field is masked out of session recordings — and we never sell your personal data.

Your choice

You control analytics: accept to allow them or decline to keep them off — and you can change your choice anytime with the button below. You can also clear everything Vocalio stored through your browser settings (clear site data / storage).

Do Not Track

Vocalio doesn't track you across sites, so there's nothing for a “Do Not Track” signal to change.

Changes

We'll update this policy if our storage practices change, and update the “last updated” date above.
